M: Judy, did you see my new hiking gear?
-see : be or become aware of something from observation or from a written or other visual source.
-hiking : walk for a long distance, especially across country or in the woods.
-gear : equipment that is used for a particular purpose.
W: Yes. Where did you get it?
-get : succeed in attaining, achieving, or experiencing; obtain.
M: Someone was having a moving sale.
-have : organize and bring about.
-move : change one's place of residence or work.
-sale : the exchange of a commodity for money; the action of selling something.
W: It’s surprising you’re able to find hidden gems at those sales.
-surprise : a feeling of mild astonishment or shock caused by something unexpected.
-able : having the power, skill, means, or opportunity to do something.
-hidden gem : Hidden gems is an idiom which means something which is extremely outstanding and not many people may know about; for example, Blame It on Rio by Stanley Donen is a good movie, but relatively unknown by the mainstream world, hence a hidden gem.
M: Very true. That’s how I get most of my stuff.

-most : the majority of; nearly all of.
-stuff : a person's belongings, equipment, or baggage.
W: The gear seems to be in good condition.
-condition : the state of something, especially with regard to its appearance, quality, or working order.
M: Yes, it’s barely been used.
-barely : only a short time before.
-been : past participle of be.
-used : having already been used.
W: Wow, you really lucked out.
-luck out : (colloquial, idiomatic, US) To experience great luck; to be extremely fortunate or lucky. I lucked out and got the last two tickets to the big show. (colloquial, idiomatic, Britain) To run out of luck. I lucked out and failed to get the tickets.
