W : How was your day at Ryan’s school?

M : I just had a very interesting experience.
interesting : arousing curiosity or interest; holding or catching the attention
experience : an event or occurrence that leaves an impression on someone
W : So, what did you do as a guest lecturer?
as : during the time of being (the thing specified)
guest : a person invited to participate in an official event
lecturer : a person who gives lectures, especially as a profession
M : I taught them some practical English. All the kids enjoyed repeating things out loud.
taught : past and past participle of teach
teach : show or explain to (someone) how to do something
practical : of or concerned with the actual doing or use of something rather than with theory and ideas
out loud : aloud; audibly
M : Sometimes I shouted the sentences, and they shouted back at me. Other times I whispered, and they whispered back.
Sometimes : occasionally, rather than all of the time
