A backpack is more convenient than bags.

W : Why are you wearing a backpack?
wear : have on one's body or a part of one's body as clothing, decoration, protection, or for some other purpose.
backpack : a bag with shoulder straps that allow it to be carried on one's back.
M : I’m heading to a flea market.
head : move in a specified direction.
flea market : a market, typically outdoors, selling secondhand goods.
W : But that doesn’t explain the backpack.
explain : make (an idea, situation, or problem) clear to someone by describing it in more detail or revealing relevant facts or ideas.
M : I need something to carry my purchases in.
carry : support and move (someone or something) from one place to another.
purchase : a thing that has been bought.
W : I see. But why a backpack?
I see : I understand.
M : A backpack is more convenient than bags.
convenient : situated so as to allow easy access to.
than : introducing the second element in a comparison.
bag : a container made of flexible material with an opening at the top, used for carrying things.
W : I guess that makes sense.
guess : estimate or suppose (something) without sufficient information to be sure of being correct.
make sense : be intelligible, justifiable, or practicable.
M : And a backpack is easier on my hands.
easy : without difficulty or effort.
on my hands : used to indicate that someone is responsible for dealing with someone or something.
