W2 : I did! Helen? It’s amazing you still remember me.

-remember : have in or be able to bring to one's mind an awareness of (someone or something that one has seen, known, or experienced in the past).

W1 : I have a very good memory. 

-memory : the faculty by which the mind stores and remembers information.
-faculty : An inherent mental or physical power.

W2 : Haha! You sure do! 

-sure : confident in what one thinks or knows; having no doubt that one is right.

W1 : Believe it or not, I know everyone in my apartment complex. 

-Believe it or not : to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so: Only if one believes in something can one act purposefully. 
-complex : a group of similar buildings or facilities on the same site.

W2 : Is that so? Were you ever a teacher? 

-ever : used for emphasis in questions and other remarks, expressing astonishment or outrage.
-teacher : a person who teaches, especially in a school.

W1 : No, teaching is not my thing.  

-thing : an action, activity, event, thought, or utterance.
