W : let’s play badminton this afternoon. I’m really into badminton these days.

-into something : When you're "into" something, it means that you like it. So when you don't likesomething, you can say that you're "not into" it

-these days : at present.



M : Sounds like a lot of fun. Did you bring rackets and a shuttlecock?

-rackets : a type of bat with a round or oval frame strung with catgut, nylon, etc., used especially in tennis, badminton, and squash.

-shuttlecock : a cork to which feathers are attached to form a cone shape, or a similar object of plastic, struck with rackets in the games of badminton and battledore.

-okay : used to express assent, agreement, or acceptance.



M : Sure. We can play doubles. The team who loses is going to buy dinner.

-double : a thing that is twice as large as usual or is made up of two standard units or things.

-lose : fail to win (a game or contest).



W : Hey, we are all students. Let’s just split the bill.

-split the bill : Exactly speaking, "go dutch" means everyone pays for what they consumed "Split the bill" means divide the expense evenly.
